Sunday Citar: One More Cup of Coffee

One more cup of coffee for the road
One more cup of coffee 'fore I go.
                                                                                            To the valley below.

Nap time for little girl is coffee time for the Momma and Daddy round here. We got hooked on Italian espresso coffee when we visited Germany.  Once you have tasted the real deal you are ruined and Starbucks will only do in a pinch.  We have an inexpensive espresso percolator you put on top of the stove. We use a milk frother for the lovely froth on top. Of course we have to have Italian espresso coffee cuz nothing else will do.  There, now I have told you all my secrets.  ; ) If you listen to  The White Stripes while drinking your coffee it is all the better.

  1. It's best when you have an Italian friend who makes it for you while chatting! We lived in France for years, with such a friend...and nothing's ever quite the same ~ alas. Nice to make it that way for yourselves...and take the time to be together while the little one's down!

  3. as a matter of fact, people who think Italian coffee is better, only think so to make a point that they spent any amount of time in Italy or with someone Italian. -_-

  4. That sounds amazing!! I'm sure it does taste better that way... it always seems to me that the more time you put into making it, the better it tastes. :)
