My childhood memories are a jumble. My early years were spent in Arizona. Not too far from where my husband and I live now. I remember being barefoot most of the time. I loved the heat, the lizards, the thundering rain storms in the summer. (I still do). Arizona is where I remember life being less crazy than it would be later. Maybe that is what brought me back here nearly 19 years ago now. This is where we have decided to raise our family.
We had a house built about five years ago on an ocotillo strewn acre of the Sonoran Desert in a small community just outside Tucson. It is quiet out here. We can see the stars at night. We breathe fresh air. (Sometimes too fresh. The wind out here seems to blow all the time). I really love everything about living out here but the rattle snakes. I am never going to love the rattle snakes.
I am a stay at home Mom . I love being with my kids. I spend way too much time in front of the computer; blogging and reading blogs. I am hoping the baby will start sleeping through the night consistently and maybe, just maybe, I will get to think clearly and write coherently. (But don't hold your breath).
