My son graduates from High School in just days. When I think about it; I get teary eyed. He was tiny like Ellie just a few years ago. I love you, my sweet son. I am so proud of you. So happy you are in my life. Now onto bigger and better things! College!

Okay - you made mem cry. Love this song and Happy Graduation to your handsome son.
ReplyDeleteOh such a happy time, but I just how you are feeling...letting go is really tough as a mom!!! Sandra Gardner
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your son! But I think your son's graduation is not only his accomplishment, but yours and your hubby as well, so congratulations to all of you!
ReplyDeleteWhat an inspiring quote by Bob Dylan to attach to your son's photo!
I have browsed around your site and fell in love with your little girl! In "the thingee' page, your babies 17 years apart and yet they look the same, it's just awesome!
Congratulations to Philip! Thinking about his graduation makes me think about all the crazy things he loved when he was little...his purple balloon that took a vacation to Mexico and then came back on that windy day...the giant teddy bear seat-belted into the backseat of my car that made him scream....the van completely full of pumpkins that made him squeal with laughter...

Where have all the flowers gone? Time is so fleeting and you think they will be around forever. Not enough time spent with my kids, not enough time spent with my grandkids! Congratulations to all of you on this great occasion. We will be there to stand proud with Philip on this day. Love you grandson, you are very special to us.
ReplyDeleteOh congratulations to your son! What a great time in his life. Mine are still so little, but I'm sure the time will come before I even know it. Ahhhh! :)

Thanks everyone for all the really nice comments. Philip says thank you too. Even though he had to let on like he was annoyed that I blogged about him. When you are 18 you are required to behave that way or they revoke your moody teenager card. One more week to go before he can be a moody teenager with a summer job!!
ReplyDeleteValary! How did I miss this?! Congratulations Philip! The world is wide open before you, go out and see what you can do about it. Hugs to you mama of the graduate!
ReplyDeleteThanks Miss Heidi!
