Snow in the Desert

Our backyard

Snow is powerful cold stuff.
(I am sure that is what she was thinking. If only she could articulate it.)

The cats love the snow.

The patio is usually much warmer than this.

  4. Thanks Heidi. I am sure you there in the pacific northwest are little more prepared for snow than we are...pretty sure you have mittens. : )

  5. Auntie Nina, we really were happy for the snow suit hand me down but the boots were way too big and fell off when she walked so she had her little mary janes on with socks. (I should have put bread bags over her shoes). Or did the bread bags go over our socks and then the leaky boots came next? I forget. : )

  6. Mom, We can't wait to see you. I am sure there will be no more snow and we can sit in the sun on the patio and drink ice tea by the time you arrive. And take some long walks and maybe a hike or two. Hugs
